Abstract

This article examines the educational and cultural policies implemented at the Teatro Colón during Peronism, analyzing their impact on the training of local artists and the democratization of access to high culture. Through the study of official documents, institutional records, and recent critical scholarship, the research explores how the state promoted a pedagogical model linked to social inclusion projects, albeit amid tensions
between artistic autonomy and ideological control. Results highlight advancements in the professionalization of musicians and the  revaluation of folklore, alongside critiques of the political instrumentalization of art
